Finding new ways to create compelling forms through enabling a specific technical function is a constant in the studio.

Levo is a task chair for general use applications within the office.  It centres on creating varied lumbar support through displacing the profile of a mesh chair back.  The composition of the back is such that a rigid plastic frame is altered in specific locations to allow it to flex in a controlled way creating the right displacement for varied lumbar support.  This adjustment is achieved manually through lifting the back and can easily be made by any user making it suitable collaborate environments where many people will use one chair.
