S9 Stool

A stool for use in healthcare, education and commercial spaces.

Rotationally moulding plastic is a wonderful way to create a sculptural form as a sealed volume and physically compliant. That was the starting point for this project. The seat is a rotationally moulded polyethylene, with minimal machining for the frame to support it. There are very few parting lines to ease cleaning, and the reverse cantilever frame allows for easy stowing for floor cleaning. The stool also stacks and is available in 3 sizes and can be used outdoors.
