Metronome Trestle

Continuing the legacy of our Metronome table for Nienkamper, the Trestle proposes a new typology, built on the same principles as the original. Splayed legs connected laterally form a very stable platform with very little mass and complexity, resulting in a logical composition with great clarity.

In this case, the table is optimized for standing height, responding to evolving ways of working in applications beyond the boardroom. Standing height also eases the ability to social distance where necessary.

A rectangular chimney acts to support the table top on longer lengths and also acts to facilitate cable management. The deep skirt around the table top supports the top and also allows for a wide range of concealed power solutions.

The leg structures are all solid hardwood and the lower rails are painted aluminum with finished hardware.
